Due to decades of war and instability, compounded by the global crisis, medical care is often inaccessible to orphaned children living in poverty. That’s why Al-Ayn is dedicated to providing free medical care to all the children and their guardians under our care. This includes necessary scans, operations, and medication.
In Iraq alone, we have treated 133,498 medical cases and performed 2,879 surgeries. Our commitment extends to supporting orphaned children in Ghana and Afghanistan, ensuring they too have access to essential healthcare services.
When you support our medical care programme, you ensure that every child continues to receive the medical attention they need throughout their childhood.
Our holistic approach to healthcare ensures the provision of services that cater to the mental health needs of orphaned children alongside their ongoing care. Through our Luminous Stars centers, our Psychological Rehabilitation Programme provides children with access to essential, and long term mental support and treatments.
Our Medical Clinics within our Luminous Stars centers contain specialized equipment staffed by experienced medical practitioners.
Our clinics also respond to emergencies within 24 hours to ensure that patients receive the medical attention they urgently require. The medical centre functions as a miniature hospital and comprises of the following specialist clinics:
In addition to these clinics, our Luminous Stars centers also contain a pharmacy, a laboratory, and an X-ray room.
In Afghanistan and Ghana, we ensure that orphaned children and families registered with Al-Ayn receive necessary medical care as needed. This includes health check-ups, access to specialist treatments, and emergency medical interventions, guaranteeing that every child receives quality healthcare to support their physical well-being.
